The Cooperative Leadership Institute

Empowering Cooperative Leaders to Drive Inclusive Prosperity

About the Program

The Cooperative Leadership Institute, a flagship initiative of Credence Institute in partnership with Coops Africa, is the premier capacity-building platform for Africa's cooperative leaders. We deliver specialized, high-impact, and future-aligned training for board members, senior executives, managers, regulators, and federation leaders across the full cooperative spectrum — from SACCOs and AgriCoops to TransCoops, Housing Coops, and Investment Cooperatives.

Our mission is to position cooperatives as dynamic, well-governed, and financially resilient institutions capable of scaling inclusive wealth, democratizing finance, and transforming national development agendas.

We do not train for compliance alone — we build institutional capacity for transformation, resilience, and relevance in an evolving socio-economic and regulatory landscape.
