The word certified is used loosely across the training market and learners are often unclear about what they have obtained. This page states precisely what Credence Institute is registered to do, which awards are issued by which body, and how any certificate we have issued can be verified.
Our registrations
Credence Institute is a registered training provider with the National Industrial Training Authority. Registration number . Employers who pay the industrial training levy can claim reimbursement of approved training costs delivered by a registered provider. Our corporate team will prepare the claim documentation with your proposal.
Credence Institute holds a letter of no objection from the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority and is completing the requirements for institutional registration and licensing. Programs currently offered are professional development, examination preparation and continuing professional development programs, and are described as such throughout this site.

The kinds of credential we issue
Awarding body qualifications.
Some programs lead to an award issued by an independent international awarding body for which Credence Institute is an approved centre. The body sets the standard, we deliver and assess against it, and the body issues the certificate. The body is named on the program page.
Training and examination preparation.
Some programs are official training for a credential owned by another body. We deliver the training and prepare you for the assessment. You sit the examination with that body and the credential comes from them.
Continuing professional development.
Some programs are CPD accredited by a professional body and carry a stated number of points towards your annual requirement. Get CPD certified while you build the capability.
Credence Institute certification.
Some programs are designed, delivered, assessed and certified by us. These carry the Credence Institute credential, are recorded in our public registry and are verifiable by anyone.

This page is updated as each agreement is executed. We prefer it to be short and accurate rather than extensive and unsupported.
Quality assurance
Every program has a named lead assessor. Assessment is internally verified before results are released and a sample of each cohort is externally moderated. Learner work is retained for and is available for audit. Complaints and appeals follow a published procedure with an independent final stage. Trainer performance is reviewed against learner feedback and assessment outcomes each cycle.

Any certificate we issue can be checked in seconds. Enter the certificate number or the graduate name in our public registry. Employers, regulators and awarding bodies are welcome to use it without an account. Cooperative directors certified through the CCD program are additionally listed in the Credence Certified Governance Registry.
