The word certified is used loosely across the training market and learners are often unclear about what they have obtained. This page states precisely what Credence Institute is registered to do, which awards are issued by which body, and how any certificate we have issued can be verified.
Our registrations
Credence Institute is a registered training provider with the National Industrial Training Authority. Employers who pay the industrial training levy can claim reimbursement of approved training costs delivered by a registered provider. Our corporate team will prepare the claim documentation with your proposal.
Credence Institute holds a letter of no objection from the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority and is completing the requirements for institutional registration and licensing. Programs currently offered are professional development, examination preparation and continuing professional development programs, and are described as such throughout this site.
Credence Institute is registered with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner as a data controller.

Our accreditation and approval information is updated as our relationships with awarding and accrediting bodies develop. Each applicable course page identifies the awarding body, approval status, assessment process, and certificate issued.
Quality assurance
Every program has a named lead assessor. Assessment is internally verified before results are released and a sample of each cohort is externally moderated. Learner work is retained and is available for audit. Complaints and appeals follow a published procedure with an independent final stage. Trainer performance is reviewed against learner feedback and assessment outcomes each cycle.
Verify a certificate
Any certificate we issue can be checked in seconds. Where applicable, certificates issued through Credence Institute carry a unique verification reference that enables employers, institutions, and other authorized parties to confirm their authenticity.
What is executed today
Two registrations are in place: the National Industrial Training Authority and the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner. Institutional registration with the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority is in progress.
Where a relationship with an awarding body is being sought, the program page says so in those words and never states it as an existing accreditation.
Levy reimbursement
Employers paying the industrial training levy can claim reimbursement of approved training costs. Claims must be lodged in advance of the training date.
